London, ca. 1861. 6 x 3.5". (BW) Fine set of etchings by the British artist &
critic. He wrote many articles and books and is best remembered for Etching and Etchers,
1868 and The Portfolio, 1870-92 that included many of his own etchings. Each
numbered and titled by hand in bottom margin. Three depict a man traveling down an unknown
river by canoe. The fourth is a view of houses at Etang. (A+) $60-80
